It was absolutely insane people going crazy about the sale of JEA... People sell homes cars businesses everyday of the week. JEA needs competition at this point. Without competition you're a monopoly. Over charging customers for your services. So far charging us approximately 100 a week for JEA my way. I will contact customer service about monthly billing.

Always great service. They even refunded me for plumbing expense when my pipe with incoming water leaked for a month, and I ended up with a higher than usual bill and had to fix the pipe ASAP. Actually, they checked it out the same day, when I complained about standing water in my grass. Dude was digging in dark, but turned out that it broke on my side (pipe before some connection in the ground is theirs, after it passes that connection it becomes your responsibility).

So when I went to check the bill for April to pay it, it was super high. The reason was because the money order was lost in the mail. So I spoke with rep Meka who said if I faxed a letter explaining the situation & the receipts showing I paid & that the lost money order was being investigated that they could possibly help. So I did. I called back today worried that my electricity would be shut off on 3/7/19 to check on whether that fax was received & to see if they could extend payment date until the money order was reissued. I spoke with rep Murdis. She checked they did receive the fax & payment date was extended to allow post office investigation results of lost money order to present. Both reps were kind & did above & beyond their jobs to help me & answer all questions & provide assistance. They were kind & patient. Rep Murdis even let me that I could go to Publix seven days a week & pay using my cash instead of a money order (thank God because money orders are a pain), which I did not even know. Thank you ladies for exceptional service & thank you JEA for working with me until we can figure out what happened to the money order. Will definitely be paying at Publix for now on out.

JEA is the worst electric company on Earth. They steal mistreat their customers and don't help you if your lights get cut off. I was paying an extra 10 on my account monthly my credit score with them was 1000. So one day I get my bill it has an extra 200.00 on it. When I call and speak with them these crazy criminals said o this is something new JEA is doing we read your meter and just for this month we will be billing you a month in advance what the? So I was like how can you do that to my bill? I haven't even used the service. O it will only happen this one time. After that it will go back to regular next month. So of course with me not having an unexpected extra $200.00. I had to ask for a payment extension. My bill was never back on track after that and I had to remain on payment extensions. Then they did it again just recently but told a hole new lie. This time my bill was already on a payment extension. However, before this some random person tried to put lights on in their name at my address. Why?and how? I have no clue it's only me and my spouse. We don't know this person who tried to put lights on at our residence. From reading the letter that we mistaken for our JEA bill stated that there would be a 300.00 deposit required in order to start lights at this address we currently live and have a lease and was not in the process of moving. So I tell JEA, their response O you know you can go to jail for opening someone else's mail. Well it was a mistake and no one else should be trying to get lights here anyway. They did not try to help and blew it off as it wasn't an issue. I still had questions and was wondering how this was possible From there they said no one else has lights at my residence and two people can't have lights at the same address. Next month I get my bill there was an added 300.00 deposit. I ask if you see I can't pay the bill why did you stick a deposit on there. Well you had a pass due and your lights were disconnected so your deposit was added back on. Really from almost 3 yrs ago where my lease originally started you stuck my deposit on my bill. That was already in my bill and I had when I first began service at this residence. Im suppose to believe it was just a coincidence that the random person that tried to put lights on here had required a 300.00 deposit and now my account was reflecting the deposit. Man get outta here JeA y'all are crooks you suck and you have the worst customer service. CITY OF JACKSONVILLE please help us do something. I know JeA has nothing to do with you but we don't want them as our electric provider anymore. Look at all these reviews saying the samething. How can you just stick an extra 200 aND 300 on someone's bill. This must be how your workers get extra money since they can't get raises which they don't deserve anyway bc they are rude, ghetto, and unprofessional crooks. JEA has the worst customer service and services period. Please shut the last branch down and get us a new one. No one should be treated like this.
